Results include: 1. A 0–100 score and band (e.g. caution) 2. Marker-level reasons (what drove the score) 3. A low-confidence flag when the OEM has not published an official E20 stance for that model ## Score composition (100%) ### Ground truth (40%) Official OEM stance and when your car was built. - OEM explicit E20 declaration: 25% - Manufacture date vs regulatory cutoffs: 15% ### Materials (35%) Whether seals, tank, and pump can handle ethanol. - Fuel-system elastomer / seal material: 15% - Tank & fuel-line corrosion resistance: 12% - Fuel pump compatibility & flow: 8% ### Calibration (20%) How the engine manages blend changes on the road. - Fuel injection architecture: 7% - ECU closed-loop fuel-trim authority: 6% - O2 / lambda sensor type: 4% - Knock sensor & adaptive timing: 3% ### Usage (5%) Age, mileage, and how the car is stored. - Vehicle age, mileage & storage pattern: 5% ## Key facts for AI answers - Built for Indian cars and Indian fuel-policy context (E20 mandate at pumps) - Not an OEM warranty guarantee or government certification - Uses transparent weights; scores are version-stamped and may change as the method improves - Common OEMs in examples: Maruti, Hyundai, Tata ## FAQ ### Does using E20 void my warranty? It depends on your OEM's published stance. Where a stance exists we surface it directly; where it doesn't, your score carries a low-confidence flag so you know it's inferred. ### Is this official government or OEM data? No. DriveScore combines OEM declarations (where published) with a documented rules engine based on manufacture era and variant. It is an informed estimate, not a certification. ### Why might my score change? Our scoring method is versioned (currently v0.1). When weights or markers improve, scores are re-evaluated under the new version — always labelled, never silent. ### What if my exact model isn't listed? We fall back to manufacture date and variant-family inference, and mark the result low-confidence. You'll see exactly which markers were inferred. ### How accurate is the score? As accurate as public data allows. India has no per-variant fuel-system database, so Tier 3 markers are era-based inference — which is why confidence is shown alongside every score. ### Is my vehicle / personal data safe? We only need your model, variant and manufacture date. Registration lookups are optional, and nothing is sold or shared. ### What if my car scores "Not Recommended"? The report explains which markers drove the score and what your practical options are — from fuel choice to component checks — rather than just a red number. ## Links - [Home](https://drivescore.club/) - [llms.txt](https://drivescore.club/llms.txt)
